I noticed the Snowcaster model 30SNC was made from polypropylene and the model 70SNC was made from UHME? What is the difference?

Basically, both of these materials are known for being strong and durable, offer chemical and abrasion resistance, and are cost-efficient and versatile materials. .

Our 30SNC model blade is made from polypropylene (PP). It is a tough, rigid and crystalline thermoplastic and offers superior strength. It is a common commodity plastic with low density and high heat resistance.

All other Snowcaster pusher models have blades made from Ultra High Molecular Weight (UHMW) Polyethylene which is known for being extremely strong and abrasion resistant. Based on our years of snow removal experience, we’ve found that UHMW tends to be better suited for industrial applications
